2019 Australian documentary directed by and starring Damon Gameau. The film looks at the effects of climate change over the next 20 years and what technologies that exist today can reverse the effects.
2040 follows Gameau’s imagining of a future for his daughter where climate change has been left untreated. He investigates a number of different areas that are contributing greatly to climate change. Then he also finds solutions and technologies available today that are able to reverse climate change.
8.30pm Light Refreshments, Discussion & Information on local energy regeneration, food, rewilding, sustainability and more.

Sustainable Blackawton has grown out of a committed group of people who wish to see a viable future for our community.
It is open to all and provides a forum to discuss the issues affecting our future and a focus for action to address these issues.
