Village Hall Furniture, Glasses, Crockery and Cutlery
A small amount (5 or fewer tables and 20 or fewer chairs) can sometimes be borrowed in return for an agreed donation and a deposit of £10. Suggested donation amounts are £5 per large table, £3 per small table and £1 per chair.
Larger amounts of furniture can be borrowed but will be charged at the appropriate rate to hire the hall for the duration.
A member of the committee should be present both when the furniture is taken and returned. Donation and deposit must be paid before any furniture is removed.
Glasses, crockery, and cutlery may also be hired for a donation on the same terms.
Requests should be made via the email link above
At the time of booking, you will need to confirm that you agree to the Conditions of Hire and that you have read the privacy policy. If you are planning to pay by BACS (preferred), you will also need to provide your bank details so that we can refund your security deposit after your event.
If you have not had a booking within the last 18 months, you may need to create a new customer account as we periodically remove dormant accounts in line with GDPR. For full details of how we handle personal data, please see our Privacy Notice.
Once your booking has been reviewed you will either receive an email with an Invoice, or contacted if more information is required.
Provisional bookings only become confirmed after the deposit has been received, which should be within 2 weeks of the invoice date. Please do not make other arrangements until your booking has been confirmed.
With the exception of community charitable events, bookings requiring a paid bar will incur a £300 bar deposit. Provided that the bar takes £300+ this will be returned in full, if the bar takes less than £300 then the amount taken will be returned.
ALL bookings, free ones included, require a security deposit.
